Taken in photography class about a year and a half ago ... assignment was to bring in things that meant something or had a theme and go in the darkroom and expose the paper with the stuff laying on it ... this was my theme ... it describes my life, my passion, my God
not original ... i inverted the colors on this one to make the background white instead of black
bracelet was a friendship bracelet ... key is to a diary to my husband *a gift for the wedding night* ... "love, trust, pray" was and still is my motto *if i ever get a tattoo id be of that* ... guitar and picks symbolize my love for music and worshipping ... angel and crosses are well an angel and crosses lol ... the ring is my purity ring given to me by my parents for my confirmation ... and the paper with words on it is a song i wrote to God about my leaving him ...
here's the words ...
Away From You
"I turn my head away from you,
but you stretch out your hand to my face.
You want to see my eyes.
Look into my soul and see my pain.
You want to help me,
but I continually push You away.
I have to get away from You.
You don't understand why I leave.
And neither do I.
You grab my hand,
And pull me into your lap.
You embrace me and wipe away my tears.
You grab my hand,
And pull me away from the past.
You send my fears away.
I walk down a path;
Trying to get away from You.
You call me back,
But I’m not strong enough to fight anymore.
I take the painless way,
But it only cause more pain in the end
You send me direction,
A road map back to You,
But I go my own way."
